Overview
We are looking for an experienced freelance researcher to support an upcoming production within the BBC. This role requires strong editorial judgement, the ability to source contributors quickly, and experience working in fast-paced production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct research to identify potential contributors and storylines
Support editorial team with briefing packs and background research
Liaise with contributors and external stakeholders
Work to tight deadlines in a live or near-live production environment
Requirements

Previous experience as a researcher in TV / media production
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and at pace
Knowledge of compliance and editorial standards preferred
